Automatch is free. Why, then, do I need a Registration Number?
Because I would like to know who is using it.

You might find it easy to get rid of the "Please register" dialogs without a valid Registration Number.
However, if you think emailing me is less effort than working through my code, and if you are someone who does appreciate that I provide the fruits of countless programming and testing hours to the image processing community, use a registered copy please.

Reference: A paper entitled "Acquisition of high resolution digital images in video microscopy: Automated image mosaicing on a desktop computer" is about to appear in Microscopy Research and Technique. I will put a note onto the ftp server as soon as the paper leaves the press. If your research has drawn substantial benefits from using AutoMatch, the paper should be cited accordingly.

You will find that you cannot use AutoMatch successfully without referring to the manual. I am sorry for that. I am also sorry for the fact that neither the manual nor the program itself is as strightforward as I wish it were. There are quite a lot of options in AutoMatch, and not every combination gives useful results. The various options, however, allows you to get optimum performance under your specific requirements. Unfortunately, there is no single "best choice" for all problems and all setups.
