README file for Rohland Snakes Application June 20, 1995 Robert M. Rohland University of Minnesota Dept. of Pharmacology 3-249 Millard Hall 435 Delaware Street SE Minneapolis, MN 55455 (612) 625-5960 bonzo@lenti.med.umn.edu There have been several requests for my "snakes" Macintosh application from people on the NIH Image maillist. This was an application that I wrote as part of a senior honors project in 1993-1994. The documentation is rather half-baked; it was pasted together from a proposal and several progress reports. It's entirely possible that some of the program features may have changed since the text was written. So, I'm offering this stuff "as-is." The source code is there -- you can hack on it if you like. It was written in C and compiled with the Symantec Think C++ tools. Also included is the public domain / shareware / freeware application skeleton by Paul DuBois. IIf you have any questions you can always email me at bonzo@lenti.med.umn.edu. I haven't had my head into this stuff for about a year, so I might not remember everything about the program. Also, please understand that I am a grad student in Pharmacology, so I have precious little time for (what is at this time) extracurricular activities. You are welcome to hack on this code, but any assistance on my part would have to be very limited. If you use any appreciable portion of this code as part of your application and make it public, please acknowledge my contribution according to normal programmer's etiquette. I'm not fussy about copyright issues, and I didn't write this stuff for profit. Nonetheless, I would appreciate being included in the by-line.
