Adobe Photoshop and the Adobe Photoshop logo are trademarks of Adobe Systems, Inc. ---------------------------------------------------- OVERVIEW ---------------------------------------------------- The ÔRasterOps Video CaptureÕ is an Adobe Photoshop Acquisition Plug-in for the following RasterOps boards: ColorBoard 364 RasterOps 24MxTV RasterOps 24STV RasterOps 24XLTV RasterOps MediaTime RasterOps VideoTime It will let you grab images from these boards directly into Photoshop. The acquired images are presented to Photoshop in RGB Color format. NOTE: The screen image in the manual is incorrect. The color control buttons are now contained as a pop-up menu. ---------------------------------------------------- SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS ---------------------------------------------------- To use this plug-in you need Adobe Photoshop Ver. 1.0 or later, any Macintosh II, Quadra and Centris family of computers with System 6.0.5 or later, 32-bit QuickDraw, the RasterOps Drivers system extension, and one of the following RasterOps video digitizer boards listed above. ---------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION AND OPERATION ---------------------------------------------------- 1. Drag the RasterOps Drivers system extension to your System Folder and reboot. 2. For Photoshop 2.0.1 and earlier, drag ÒRasterOps Video CaptureÓ into the folder which contains the Photoshop Preferences file. For Photoshop 2.5 and later, drag ÒRasterOps Video CaptureÓ into your Plug-in folder. 3. Launch Photoshop and select Acquire from the Photoshop File menu. You can control the following: ¥ Image size to be grabbed. Choices are: (a) 320 x 240 pixels 50% reduced, (b) 320 x 240 pixels, (c) 640 x 480 pixels, or (d) maximum size, which depends on the board and the color encoding being used. ¥ Video source: Composite or S-Video. For the RasterOps 24XLTV you can also select a second composite source or separate RGB. ¥ Color encoding: NTSC, PAL or SECAM. ¥ Color adjustment such as brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, black level and white level. When the hand cursor appears you can drag the mouse to change the video source rectangle. When you are ready to grab, click the Grab button and the image will be converted into RGB Color format and displayed in a new Photoshop window.
